Many of the following books are listed in the Key References section and available from Amazon at reduced rates.  Also listed are a few of the host's other favorite resource books on architecture.  Members of the International Code Council can also find deep discounts directly from the ICC.  Also available from the ICC are a full selection of Code Commentaries not generally available from Amazon or bookstores. 

New users should note that many state codes are adopted from the model ICC codes and are therefore very similar in content to the state codes.  The most significant differences are usually found in Chapter1- Adminstration because of the necessities of state laws.  For a map and details of states that have adopted I-Codes go to the ICC Code Adoptions page.
